W.C. Precision Inc. was established in 1995 and has grown into a new 20,000 sq. ft. state of the art manufacturing facility located in Buena Park Ca. We specialize in C.N.C Turning, Milling, Tube bending and Assembly using state of the art machines and well-trained personnel. Additionally, we offer customer added value by providing machining and processing operations such as drilling, gear forming, grinding, waterjet cutting, welding, anodic coating, chemical conversion coating, heat treating and various plating operations. W.C. Precision’s C.N.C Centers produce product to meet our customer’s most demanding specifications with precision accuracy and cost effectiveness. Our turning centers are capable of boring, drilling, grooving and finish contour on a full range of materials and shapes. Our documented preventive maintenance program keeps all turning centers in superior operational condition. Quick change tooling kits allow for minimum down time and quick change over. We are able to go from design to finished product in the most streamlined and efficient way possible.

Specific CNC Turning Capabilities:

  • Materials up to 14 inch Diameter

  • Lengths to 30 inch length

  • Spindle speeds to 2500 RPM

  • Tool magazines up to 12 tools

  • Repeatability to +/- 0.0002

W.C. Precision’s state of the art Milling Centers are able to go from design to finish product to meet our customer’s most demanding requirements with precision accuracy and cost effectiveness. All CNC milling centers are networked with full DNC (Direct Numerical Control.) communications capabilities using the latest Mastercam software allowing the capability for W.C. Precision to machine product from solid model information to finished product. . Our documented preventive maintenance program keeps all milling centers in superior operational condition, this along with our quick change tooling kits results in minimum down time and quick change over. We are able to go from design to finish product.

Precision’s state of the art Tube Bending Center offers the most advanced features in the industry allowing us to deliver superior products, part quality, reliability, and overall productivity. We’re geared for and capable of meeting our customer’s most demanding specifications with precision accuracy and cost effectiveness. Our Eaton Leanord’s Tube Data Center is equipoped with Vector 1 Laservision Optima. Our Quality analysis parallels production allowing a seamless closed loop as well as highly accurate tube, pipe and wire measurements. With a direct link to our bending center, the onscreen user interface displays 3D Graphic Inspection Reports during production that indicate any out-of-tolerance conditions and then prompts self correcting capabilities that further enhance our quality assurance process.

Utilizing EL’s Tube Data Center, equipped with the Vector 1 Laservision Optima, our quality analysis parallels production allowing a seamless, closed loop, highly accurate measurement on all tube, pipe, and wire needs. With a direct link to our bending center, the onscreen user interface displays 3D Graphic inspection reports during production. This method quickly indicates out-of-tolerance conditions and prompts self-correcting capabilities further enhancing our quality assurance process.

Products manufactured are Lot Number controlled to ensure traceability. A certificate of conformance is included in each shipment to our customers as an integral element to product documentation. Certifications are archived in-house and are available upon request 5 years of the order date.

Calibration is critical to W.C. Precision’s quality systems and standards. A calibration system meeting ISO17025, ISO10012, ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 is incorporated to provide accurate measuring and testing equipment throughout the manufacturing and inspection processes.

QUALITY INSPECTION

W.C. Precision Inc. believes that Quality inspection of a product is a direct result of careful planning, meticulous control of manufacturing processes, and attentiveness to customer requirements. This overall results in products of the finest quality and performance. As our products progress through each manufacturing process, quality assurance and machining operators diligently inspect and monitor for verification of conformance to drawing specifications and customer requirements. Through the use of W.C. Precision’s First Article Reports, In process, and Final Inspection Reports, inspection results are documented and archived. All inspectors and operators are fully trained in inspection techniques to uphold W.C. Precision’s quality objective to maintain a 100% quality rating from all our customers. All suppliers of raw material are approved and maintained by W.C. Precision as well as our customers.

With our company wide “Continuous Improvement Process” philosophy W.C. Precision is constantly reevaluating in-house processes to automate and streamline workflow.
